Tanzania 2025
In 2025 10 midwives from North West England visited Tanzania. Mamatoto supplied antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal equipment to healthcare facilities and traditional birth attendants. Mamatotos Leah, Kim and William were able to secure meetings with various ambassadors for health education in Dar Es Salaam and meet local midwives to determine how funds raised could best served.
2025 Constitution
2025 is where Mamatoto really found its feet! We made some serious plans about how we could affect real change and set off our constitution application to register as a UK based charity! We look forward to updating you. Fingers crossed!
Africa Oye
Mamatoto is excited to be part of Africa Oyé 2026, bringing our vibrant celebration of African and Caribbean culture to this iconic festival. Join us for a joyful, family-friendly experience filled with rhythm, creativity and community spirit, as we share the stories, traditions and energy that sit at the heart of everything we do. We can’t wait to connect, celebrate and create unforgettable moments together at Africa Oyé 2026.
Kilimanjaro 2026
In September 2026, a team of five dedicated supporters will be taking on the incredible challenge of climbing Mount Kilimanjaro to raise vital funds for Mamatoto. Pushing themselves to new heights, they’ll be trekking to the summit in support of our work, helping us continue to empower families in Africa. Every step they take will help make a difference — and we’re so proud to have them championing Mamatoto in such an inspiring way.
